Content production.
Photography and film. One creative direction.
Looking for a content production agency focused on photography and film? Halding Studio brings planning, shooting and post-production together around your brand and the channels where the work will be used.
I am Mark Halding, your direct contact throughout the production. We discuss the campaign, the people in front of the camera and the deliverables you need. Planning photographs and film together helps the lighting, visual language and story work consistently across your website, social media and business communications.
A consistent visual language.
Useful content starts with a clear direction. What should your audience understand, feel or do? That decision guides the location, people, images and pace. A quiet portrait, a product sequence and an energetic sports image need different approaches, even when they belong to the same brand.
The selected photographs show my work with people and movement. Explore the Studio cases to see different visual approaches in context. References help us discuss the direction; your production is developed around your own story, audience and practical requirements.
From brief to shoot
What does your content need to do?
A useful brief does not need to be long. Tell me who you want to reach, which message matters most and where the content will appear. Existing brand materials, visual references, a provisional deadline and a list of desired photographs or films are helpful. We can work through the open questions together.
We then agree the scope, shooting days, locations and participants. A shot list makes the essential images clear and helps us prioritise on the day. When photography and film share a shoot, we allow time for both, rather than treating either deliverable as an incidental extra. Access, scheduling and responsibilities are clarified before production begins.
Formats planned for each channel.
A website, a LinkedIn update and a vertical video have different requirements. We agree the formats before shooting, allowing room for crops, captions and graphic elements. A 16:9 film cannot always become a useful 9:16 version through cropping alone. We plan the position of the subject and any necessary variations on location.
Depending on the agreed scope, your delivery can include a main film, shorter versions, vertical clips and an edited photographic series. Quantities, durations, image selection and any subtitles are specified in the proposal. The aim is an organised collection of assets with a clear purpose and suitable formats.
If you already have photographs or footage, we consider what can be reused and where new material is needed. You can also explore commercial film production, corporate video with interviews and a clear company presentation and commercial photography when your brief mainly calls for one medium.
For films intended for the feed or vertical delivery, explore social media video production with planned framing and channel versions.
Production with Mark Halding
Based in Denmark. On location with you.
I work from Hørsholm, Denmark, and travel to the location the project requires. Your workplace, a studio, the city or an outdoor setting can each support a different story. We agree who arranges participants, access and any necessary permissions before the shoot.
I guide the people in front of the camera and keep the agreed visual direction and shot list in view. Projects needing a larger crew are planned accordingly. See Watery and DOXA for examples of distinct brand imagery. These are previous projects and a starting point for discussing the approach to your own production.
FAQ
-
What does content production include?Photography and film planned as a coherent visual project. The brief, shoot, editing and agreed versions are specified in the proposal. A photography-only brief or a single film can also be scoped to your needs.
-
Can photography and film share a shoot?Yes, when the scope and schedule allow enough time for both. We agree the shot list, crew and timing in advance. Larger projects or different locations may require separate shooting days.
-
Can we reuse existing material?Send the assets you already have, together with information about quality and usage rights. We consider what can work in the new production and which additional shots or versions are needed.
-
How much does a production cost? The price depends on planning, shooting time, crew, deliverables and post-production. I prepare a proposal after discussing your requirements. Delivery, review rounds and usage rights are agreed with the scope.
-
When will we receive the material? We agree a delivery schedule around the production and your deadline, allowing time for selection, editing and consolidated feedback. Let me know early if some assets are needed before the rest.
Post-production and a clear agreement.
After the shoot, I select and develop the material. Photographs receive consistent editing, while film is shaped around the story. Music, sound, colour and any on-screen text are discussed as part of the deliverables. We also agree who gathers feedback and how many review rounds are included.
The price depends on preparation, shooting time, crew and post-production. You receive a proposal for a defined project. Usage rights, channels, territory, duration and any third-party licences are clarified before production. If the requirements change, any additional work is agreed before it is carried out.
We can plan a single campaign or a series of shoots during the year. Distribution, media buying and ongoing channel management are separate tasks that require their own agreement where relevant. The focus here is a considered collection of visual assets that your team or partners can use in your communications.
Let’s discuss your production.
